Who runs Kiddie Kare A'Kademie and why should I trust them?
Kiddie Kare A'Kademie is owned and operated by Holly Tuttle-Barthuly, who has dedicated her entire career to early childhood education in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Holly has been at the center since it opened in 1991, first as Administrative Director and as sole owner since December 2014.
The Tuttle family's roots in Kenosha childcare go back to 1966, when Holly's family began operating Kiddie Kollege and Kiddie A'Kademie. That's nearly 60 years of caring for Kenosha-area children.
This isn't a chain. There are no corporate offices making decisions from out of state. Holly is at the center. She knows the families. She knows the children. And she's built a teaching staff that shares her belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing place to learn and grow.

Meet Holly Tuttle-Barthuly, Owner and Administrative Director
Holly Tuttle-Barthuly has spent her entire professional life in early childhood education. She started as Administrative Director of Kiddie Kare A'Kademie in August 1991 and became the owner in December 2014.
In 2006, Holly was invited to participate in the Oxford Round Table Early Childhood Symposium at the University of Oxford in England, where she discussed best practices in early childhood education with educators from around the world. That experience reinforced what she already believed: children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and connected to the people caring for them.
Holly is active in the Kenosha community beyond the center. She's passionate about horseback riding, has traveled internationally, and brings that same curiosity and love of learning to the children and families she serves every day.
When you tour Kiddie Kare A'Kademie, you'll likely meet Holly in person. She's not behind a desk in a corporate office. She's right here, in Kenosha, doing the work she loves.
What does Kiddie Kare A'Kademie believe about early childhood education?
We believe young children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and connected to the people caring for them. Our teaching staff doesn't just follow a curriculum. They build real relationships with your child and with you.
We believe parents deserve honesty, transparency, and respect. That means clear communication about what your child did today, what they're learning, and how they're growing. No surprises. No runaround.
We believe in real academics, not just playtime. Our curriculum covers letters, phonics, numbers, colors, shapes, Spanish, American Sign Language, and character development. By the time your child graduates from our Pre-K program, they count to 100, write their name, and recognize all 26 letters and sounds.

Why do families stay at Kiddie Kare A'Kademie for years?
Many Kenosha families stay with us from their child's first birthday all the way through elementary school. Some families have been with us for over a decade. A few even attended as children and now bring their own kids.
Families stay because of consistency. Your child isn't shuffled between locations or handed off to teachers who don't know their name. Our teaching staff builds relationships over years, not weeks. They know your child's strengths, interests, and how they learn best.
Families also stay because our programs build on each other. What your child learns in the Twiddle Bug Room at age 1 connects to what they learn in the Elmo Room at age 2, then the Zoe Room at age 3, and the Bert Room at age 4. There are no gaps, no repeated lessons, and no time lost adjusting to a new environment.
